My October Favorites!

There are so many things that I've fallen in love with this season but let's take a look at some on my favs. I've managed to sum it up to the top 10, or 11....maybe get to 12, lol. Are any of these your current favorites? Let me know in the comments.

Raw Sugar Deodorant

What I love about Raw Sugar is unlike other 0% deodorants I didn't feel self-conscious all day and need to constantly reapply. It also doesn't suck every bit of moisture out of your skin like some others. It's just an amazing product. I strongly recommend it. Reminder: detox your pits before switching deodorants.

Dove Intensive Cream

This is the perfect cream to just toss in your purse. I found it at the pharmacy during quarantine after dealing with chronic dry hands from washing and sanitizing. I'm now hooked. It's the perfect amount of moisture. Doesn't leave you greasy, and has that soft Dove scent we all love. Cop you a few ASAP.

My God Today by Dr. Lori Alyse Croom

I'm one of those people who feel sometimes you just gotta come to God as you are. I will talk to him like the homie. When I'm struggle, we have real father-daughter conversation. This devotional was made for people like me. I feel seen! If you are looking for something and someone who gets you, Dr. Croom its is.

NYX Eyebrow Powder Pencil

Why didn't anyone tell my how amazing this eyebrow pencil is?!?! I saw it recommended on IG and decided to give it a try. I'm so upset I've been out of the loop for so long. This pencil is goes on smooth and blends out beautifully. 5 STARS!

Shineblock™ Oil Control Moisturizer SPF 30

I'm always preaching the importance of wearing spf, even as people of color, and even indoors! It can be hard to find one that doesn't leave a white cast over your skin or make you feel greasy but the team at Urban Skin Rx have done just that (you know they will always be on a favs list of mine). My skin feels moisturized without feeling oily and is protected from the dangers of the sun.

Trader Joe's Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

Who else is addicted to this stuff? I use it on avocado toast, eggs, salad, fries...I go hard. Everything bagels were already my favorite bagel so this was a must have when I first so it. It stays in the seasoning rack! If you haven't tried it, order you some today!

Kiss Press-on Nails

I like to switch my nails up often and yank them off if I'm going to being inside for 2 or more days. Press-ons are the perfect option for me and they are not the boring nails we use to see 10 years ago. I'm constantly stopped and asked who does my nails. And thanks to the pandemic more nail techs are now taking orders for custom press-ons.

Milani Eye Tech Extreme Vinyl Liquid Eyeliner

I'm very picky about my liquid eye liner. Sometimes a winged eye may be the best you're get from me that day. This eyeline pen is so easy to use and sits comfortably in the hand. It doesn't smudge throughout the day and you get a dark line on the very first stroke.

Olay Cleansing Infusion Body Wash, Charcoal + Mint

Like many, I have sensitive skin and cant use alot of different scented soaps and washes while showering. I was pleasantly surprised to try this bod wash by Olay and it leave my skin feeling refreshed, glowing, and hydrated. It smells amazing and doesn't give your skin the feeling of being stripped. I think I'll be sticking with this throughout the colder months.

Avocado Toast

Do I even really need to explain?!?!? I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I like mine on sourdough, a little lemon juice, salt and pepper, top with a fried egg, capers, and red pepper flakes. YUUMMMM!!!

Did we share any of the same favs for the month? Let me know in the comments! Be sure to share your favs so I can give them a try. You never know, they may make next month's list.
